who we are
We're a diverse group of average-joe guys that came together because of our struggles with pornography and other lust-related addictions.
Our diversity comes in many forms... We range in age from 20 to 50's (but we're not limiting to that). Some of us have been Christians all of our lives and grown up in the church while others have only been followers of Christ for only a short period. We're very different, but we've grown close through our common struggles.
Our group started in response to the original visit by Craig & Mike of x3Church.com to Mars Hill Bible Church.
Most of us are regular attenders of Mars Hill Bible Church. Some of us belong to other churches and joined the group through referrals.
We have all struggled (unsuccessfully) to overcome our addictions on our own.
We've all tried the approach of calling on God to take the temptations away (wrong approach).
We are all Christians. We believe Christ is the answer to freedom from our bondage.
We've all found great relief and healing in sharing our burdens and working together towards freedom.
We are excited to help others find freedom! (and all the benefits that go with!)
